Yesterday the Startup Finance Team participated in the conferences led BBVA Spark, a BBVA initiative to help innovative and technological companies grow, and Glovo, and these conferences brought together more than 100 CFOs in Madrid and Barcelona.

The opening remarks were given by Lucia Hojman, Head of Business Development at BBVA Spark Spain, and Marta Ayala, Global Director of Finance Performance at Glovo.

Jordi Vidal, manager at Kibo Ventures, spoke about the evolution of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, as well as opportunities and trends for financing in the future, and he noted that Spain is undergoing very promising growth 💥

This was followed by the debate titled CFO Spotlight: growth strategies from a financial point of view with Jorge Lluch, co-founder and COO of Abacum; Lluis Vidal, CFO of Exoticca, and Eduard Ros, CFO of Glovo.

In these work sessions, the experiences and day-to-day challenges of CFOs were shared and their key role in boosting sustained and strategic growth in high-performance companies was reaffirmed 🚀
